Britton C. RN, MSN
I have a diverse background with a passion for both healthcare and education. Born and raised in West Africa, I moved to New York with a vision of pursuing academic and professional growth.
As my goals evolved, I earned a certification as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) and began working in a nursing home, which provided me with valuable experience and health benefits. This opportunity also led to my enrollment in a CUNY school, where I completed my Bachelor’s degree and transitioned into a Registered Nurse (RN) role at a major healthcare system in New York City.
After five years in a Medical-Surgical unit, I moved to the Step-Down/Telemetry unit, where I continue to provide specialized care to patients recovering from major cardiac surgeries and procedures. I also manage complex cardiac conditions and administer life-saving medications like Dobutamine and Norepinephrine infusions.
In addition to my healthcare experience, my educational journey led me to earn a Master of Science in Education. I am now dedicated to helping others achieve their academic goals and am passionate about supporting students in their learning and growth.
